Market News In 2 Minutes @ 7th April 2014

Market News in 2 minutes
Hope you folks have a great weekend and let's start the week with some snippets of market news.

As stock investors (even though a small one), it is important to keep abreast with the latest financial and market news. Since I am in it, I thought it might be worthwhile to share it out with my readers too.

Hence, I started this "Market News In 2 Minutes" series.

Following are the "Market News In 2 Minutes" for today :

1. Annica Holding (5AL) - The latest company to come under scrutiny of the Commercial Affairs Department (CAD) (source : The Edge)

2. XMH Holdings (M9F) - Won two contracts worth US$3.6 million to supply engines under Mitsubishi’s licensing. The first contract helps XMH build its business in the Vietnamese market and would aid in reducing the firm’s over-reliance on the Indonesian work boat market. (source : Shares Investment)

3.  Great Group Holdings (I5H) - A subsidiary of Great Group Holdings, 3W Life Investment, has agreed to buy a 90-percent stake in Basic World Resources (BWR) for $8.7 million. BWR provides sourcing, procurement and design services to the garment and fashion industry. (source : Shares Investment)

Cheers!
