Hi, I'm a newbie in investing. I'll like to know your take on Mapletree Industrial Trust & Greater china commercial trust..? Should I sell it if I've made around 9% profit (industrial trust) or hold as there is still potential?
ReplyDeleteHi Wai Lin, Thanks for dropping by and comment. To be frank, I have very little knowledge about REITs and have zero understanding of two REITs that you've mentioned. Personally, I am looking at medium-to-longer term investment (not as long as Warren Buffett though ;-)).
DeleteAs a rules of thumb, if your investment is fundamentally sounds and there is no other better investment opportunities, hold longer while collecting dividends might be a better choice! ;-)
Hi Richard, thank you for your reply.. :) I guess I've to go with my gut feel then.
ReplyDeleteHi Wai Lin,
DeleteYes! At times, it (gut feeling) is more powerful than many hours of analysis ;-)
All the best in your venture and hope to catch up more with you in the future and have a great Vesak Day!
Cheers!
