Market News In 2 Minutes @ 14th May 2014

Market News in 2 minutes

As stock investors (even though a small one), it is important to keep abreast with the latest financial and market news. Since I am in it, I thought it might be worthwhile to share it out with my readers too.

Hence, I started this "Market News In 2 Minutes" series.

Following are the "Market News In 2 Minutes" for today :

1. SATS (S58) - Singapore airport services and catering firm SATS said on Monday it had abandoned plans to acquire a cruise and ferry terminal operator from a unit of Singapore state investor Temasek Holdings for $110 million. For more details, click here. (source : The Edge)

2. HPL (H15) - A consortium that includes Singapore tycoon Ong Beng Seng and Wheelock Properties (Singapore) has increased its offer price for a stake in Hotel Properties (HPL) to $4 per share, valuing the company at around $2.07 billion. For more details, click here. (source : The Edge)

Cheers!
