
As stock investors (even though a small one), it is important to keep abreast with the latest financial and market news. Since I am in it, I thought it might be worthwhile to share it out with my readers too.Hence, I started this "Market News In 2 Minutes" series.
Following are the "Market News In 2 Minutes" for today :
1. Goodpack (G05) - KKR & Co., the buyout firm run by George Roberts and Henry Kravis, offered $1.4 billion to buy Goodpack, a provider of bulk containers. KKR will pay $2.50 a share in cash, a 6.8 percent premium to its last traded price of $2.34 on May 23, according to a statement on the Singapore Exchange For more details of the story, click here. Hotel Properties (H15) – Founder Ong Beng Seng and Wheelock Properties have, in a joint attempt to buy out HP on Tuesday morning raised their offer to $4.05 a share, marking the second time the offer has been raised. It was improved to $4 a share from $3.50 a share previously. (source : Shares Investment)
