Market News In 2 Minutes @ 2nd May 2014

Market News in 2 minutes
As stock investors (even though a small one), it is important to keep abreast with the latest financial and market news. Since I am in it, I thought it might be worthwhile to share it out with my readers too.

Hence, I started this "Market News In 2 Minutes" series.

Following are the "Market News In 2 Minutes" for today :

1. E2-Capital Holdings (5OF) - Proposed a capital reduction by returning HK$0.67 per share, or HK$187.6 million, in cash to its shareholders. Following the disposal of its subsidiary, Wealthy Aim Investments, E2-Capital ceased to have any operating business and became a cash company. Presently, the firm is exploring new business opportunities, failing which, it will be removed from the SGX. (source : Investment Share)

2. Singapore Medical Group (5OT) - And Indonesia-based PT. Ciputra Raya Sejahtera announced a 40:60 joint venture with the aim of operating an eye specialist clinic and potentially, any other specialist clinic in Jakarta, Indonesia. (source : Shares Investment)
