As stock investors (even though a small one), it is important to keep abreast with the latest financial and market news. Since I am in it, I thought it might be worthwhile to share it out with my readers too.

1. Tiger Airways Holdings (J7X) -  The low- cost carrier partly owned by Singapore Airlines, said it seeks to boost overseas revenue by forging alliances with other airlines. For more details of the report, click here. (source : The Edge)

2. Cordlife Group (P8A) - Has partnered China Cord Blood Corporation, the leading provider of cord blood collection and stem-cell storage services on the Mainland and joined forces in assisting patients in China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, the Philippines and Malaysia to identify suitable cord blood matching units for stem cell therapy. 3. Ezion Holdings (5ME) - Has sold its entire shareholding in Ezion Offshore Logistics Hub and Teras Australia to AusGroup for a consideration of $55 million with $14 million paid in cash and the rest paid with new fully paid up ordinary shares of AusGroup representing a 17.8 percent stake in AusGroup. The sale will allow Ezion to continue its focus on investment in service rigs to meet the strong demand for such service rigs. (source : Shares investment)

4. Sino Construction (F3V) - Has acquired a 52 percent stake in JEMS Exploration for a consideration of US$20 million. JEMS Exploration is a company that is in the business of the exploration, mining and production of coal in Queensland, Australia. (source : Shares investment)
