As stock investors (even though a small one), it is important to keep abreast with the latest financial and market news. Since I am in it, I thought it might be worthwhile to share it out with my readers too.

Hence, I started this "Market News In 2 Minutes" series.

1. United Engineers (U04) - Has requested for a trading halt. Singapore property and construction company may be poised for a takeover after Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp. said it is in talks to sell its stake in the company. For more details of the report, click here. (source : The Edge)

2. Global Logistic Properties (MC0) - Has signed two new lease agreements totaling 34,000 square metres of leasable space in Eastern and Northern China, adding two new companies into its clientele. The facilities to be leased, will be used for the storage and distribution of packaged foods, including products with temperature-control requirements. (source : Shares Investment)
