
As stock investors (even though a small one), it is important to keep abreast with the latest financial and market news. Since I am in it, I thought it might be worthwhile to share it out with my readers too.

1. IPS Securex Holdings (40A) - The provider of security products and integrated security solutions, said it has won a $4.5 million contract from the HDB for the installation, leasing and maintenance of alert alarm systems (AAS) for several blocks of residential housing across Singapore. 2. Linc Energy (TI6) - Has entered into an agreement to sell its Carmichael coal-mine royalty deed in Australia to India’s Adani Group for A$155 million ($180 million) in cash. (source : The Edge)
3. Yoma Strategic Holdings (Z59) - Proposed the acquisition of a 70 percent interest in a piece of land located in Yangon, Myanmar, and a 20 percent interest in YSH Finance. The land piece measures 20.3 acres and comes with a purchase price of US$5.6 million, which the company intends to develop into an international school. When the acquisition of YSH Finance is completed, YSH Finance will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yoma. (source : The Edge)
