One Word To Describe Your Current Investment Mentality

This post will be very very short...

After slightly more than one year of getting my hand "dirty" in stock investment and a couple of trades later, just feel like reflecting myself about my journey so far and what is my current investment mentality.

Prior to plunging into stock investment, I always deemed stocks as some kind of gambling (which might be still true since there is no 100% guarantee of "sure wins" in stock investment). However, after learning more of the fundamental of investment as well as the risk of the inflation, not investing is kind of a "sure loss" to me.

Having said that, I am still consider myself a "kiasi" (for the benefit of those not familiar with Singlish, it means “chicken-hearted") investor and hence one word that can closely describe my current investment mentality is : CAUTIOUSNESS!

In short, I am still playing it very cautiously at the moment. What is the one word that can describe your investment mentality now?

Cheers!

  1. Losing to inflation is like a frog in cold and slowly boiling water. No pain.

Try losing big in the market. It is may not just pain but depression too.
